On the night of January 5th, Big Pink Farm tragically burnt down. The farm was home to the Romeo family for over 20 years.
While everyone made it out safe, Roger Romeo and two of his children lost everything they had.
Roger was only days away from packing up his life and moving to North Carolina to retire and live with his daughter, her husband, and his grandchildren.
Roger had his own woodworking business with plans to move all of his equipment with him. His entire wood shop is now gone.
Everyone who knows Roger knows of his love and passion for music. His entire music studio including all of his instruments are also gone.
Roger’s son, Calvin was also living at the farm and getting ready to move and complete his college degree at Kent State University. He has lost everything he had except a few items he was able to grab.
Roger’s daughter, Ariel, was visiting home while on her winter break at Berea College. Everything she had brought home with her is gone.
If you know Roger, you know of his unwavering trust in God. His faith and his strength will carry him through. The Romeo kids are some of the strongest people I have come to know. They will get through this.
Any financial support you are able to give to help Roger, Calvin, and Ariel through this transition would be deeply appreciated. The biggest need at the moment is funds to replace all of the clothing and other essential belongings lost in the fire.
If you’re unable to give, keeping the Romeo family in your thoughts and prayers is the greatest thing we could ask.
Thank you.
