First of all thank you to everyone who has offered their home, time, or washing mashing to help my mom (Betsy Gard) already.
For those who do not know, my mom lost her dog baxley and most of her home and belongings in an electrical fire while she was away at work on Tuesday, March 12. She also found out that due to an unknown issue with her financial management company, her insurance premiums had not been paid, and she does not have insurance to help her recovery.
Many have asked what they can do to help, and I will continue to post updates and volunteer needs over the next few months, but if anyone would like to contribute financially, she is grateful for any donations. Please feel free to share the Facebook group and go fund me with anyone you think would like to help. We are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of people who came out already and know that she will be able to get through this with her community by her side.
