Help Me Rebuild My Daughter’s and My Life After the Earthquake in Venezuela

Many people came to know my daughter Fabiana’s story because her rescue went viral. After spending more than 30 hours trapped beneath the rubble following the earthquake in Venezuela, she emerged with a smile that touched thousands of people. That smile reflected her incredible strength and her determination to keep fighting, even in the darkest moments.

Today, I am the one asking for your help. My daughter and I are trying to move forward after this tragedy. The earthquake destroyed our home, and we lost our house and everything we owned, leaving us with nowhere safe to return. Along with the emotional trauma we have endured, we are also struggling to cover the medical expenses related to Fabiana’s recovery.

Asking for help was never part of my plans, but at this moment I cannot do this alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us cover medical expenses, find a safe place to live, and begin rebuilding our lives.

Muchos conocieron la historia de mi hija, Fabiana, porque su rescate se hizo viral. Después de permanecer más de 30 horas atrapada bajo los escombros tras el terremoto en Venezuela, salió con una sonrisa que conmovió a miles de personas. Esa sonrisa reflejaba su inmensa fortaleza y las ganas de vivir que nunca perdió, incluso en los momentos más difíciles.

Hoy soy yo quien les pide ayuda. Mi hija y yo estamos intentando salir adelante después de esta tragedia. El terremoto destruyó nuestro hogar y perdimos nuestra casa y todas nuestras pertenencias, dejándonos sin un lugar seguro al cual regresar. Además de enfrentar todo lo que hemos vivido emocionalmente, también debemos cubrir los gastos médicos de su recuperación.

Pedir ayuda nunca fue parte de mis planes, pero en este momento no puedo hacerlo sola. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, nos ayudará a cubrir los gastos médicos, encontrar un lugar donde vivir y comenzar a reconstruir nuestras vidas.
