Rebuilding Dreamz Through Hoopz

Born and raised in Paterson NJ, you either played sports or you was in the streets caught up in a gang or dead, I played sports, Football Basketball. Baseball, and I ran Track in and out out school . Growing up in Paterson there was always a spot to play basket, School #13 was one of the places,  we called it  the Master Grounds.   We played all day long having fun if you was not in the game then you had next. The kids these days needs a place to play other than the streets. When they are in the streets they turn up dead or selling drugs. 
            I started  a foundation called Willie Peterkin Foundation is a grassroots organization working to serve the children in our community by improving the conditions of the basketball courts, to provide opportunity for recreations and relaxation that contribute to the health and equality of the life to members of the community, especially the youth.
