Support Abdelbasset’s Family

Hi everybody, I’m Hasnaa, fundraising on behalf of my friend Basset who is attempting as we speak to evacuate his family from Gaza, which was the last place supposed to be safe for Gazans.

Here is an update of the situation to understand the assessment of the renewed emergency and how you can be part of an equation of a powerful relief system :

Given the worsening war in Gaza, the prices of everything have sharply risen and the family needs even more help especially to get the bare esssentials : food, shelter and medication.

For Baset’s family, this new decision to leave is incredibly challenging nevertheless it is the only option they have because it just is a question of survival. Indeed, everything they had was destroyed : home, work place and offices. Therefore leaving costs are estimated to reach 5 dollars/person and Baset must reach at least 25 dollars in order to start making his survival option be possible. Bear in mind those figures are temporary because the unstable situation there doesn’t leave any room for improvement for the time being so do understand this is really the lowest estimate.

On top of that, his mother has a medical condition to deal with : high blood pressure and diabetes. As you can imagine, the ongoing genocide is preventing them accessing any medical structure be it a hospital or a clinic and no human basic resources such as a drugstore or some humanitarian organization to meet any of their most pressing need, is available.

Leaving is already an excruciating painful decision.

In addition the conditions to do so are beyond what a human being could withstand. It is truly a never seen configuration where everything is challenging at a level impossible to deal with.

Fortunately, there is one decisive hope they can rely on : your support.

More than anytime before, your financial help can literally save lives, families and thwart this tragedy at the level of families by basically providing the possibility to survive.
