URGENT: Help Me Walk Again!

One year ago(18th feb 2024), my life changed forever. I survived a devastating accident that left me completely bedridden. Since then, I’ve endured multiple major surgeries on my hands,neck,skull, legs, liver,hips, and abdomen. But after a full year of pain and struggle, I still can’t walk, cook, or even take a shower without assistance.

During my last visit to St. Michael’s Hospital, at the end of November 2024, the doctors confirmed that I urgently need ACL and PCL ligament surgery. Without it, my condition will only worsen. I am suffering more and more each day. But there’s one huge obstacle—the car insurance company that hit me has not responded for over two months and hasn’t paid a single bill to the hospital. Meanwhile, the hospital requires pre-approved payment before they can proceed with the surgery. I have no funds left, and I’m trapped in this nightmare.

I once dreamed of going to college, building a career, and living a normal, happy life. But right now, my only wish is to heal and regain my independence. My mental health is deteriorating, and I can’t fight this battle alone anymore.

Greetings, I'm Binisha Koirala. Two months ago, I began a new chapter in Canada filled with dreams. However, on February 18th, 2024, everything changed in an instant. A car crash left me fighting for my life, with injuries that have turned my world upside down.

Around 8:21 in the evening, I found myself in a collision involving two vehicles. The impact was severe, leaving me in critical condition. Paramedics rushed me to the hospital where emergency surgery was performed. To save my life, doctors had to remove 20% of my liver. The injuries are extensive - multiple fractures, a fractured skull, a broken neck, a dislocated hip, broken left hand and both legs fractured.

While I am grateful to have survived, the road to recovery is long and challenging. Simple tasks have become monumental challenges. Every movement is a reminder of life's fragility. However, amidst the pain and uncertainty, there is hope. With your support, I believe I can reclaim my life.

Sadly, financial strain adds another layer of difficulty to my situation. I lack the means to enroll in rehabilitation, pay rent, or afford proper nourishment. Every day is a struggle to make ends meet, let alone focus on recovery.
