Rebuilding Boost mobile 47thDamen & 55thWentworth

2 of our local Boost Mobile store have been destroyed by looters, And we need help to rebuild for our employees and our community.
Over the past 15 years I as a South Korean immigrant have worked day in and day out, putting my all into building a stable business in order to support our families.  Through those many years, we have seen a multitude of people and found friendship while working in the south Chicago area. After meeting these people, he were heartbroken after witnessing the events of George Floyd and avidly supports the need for change. We makes it clear that our family and business stands for peaceful protest against the injustice that runs through our country. Despite supporting the protest, the violence and looting that trails the peaceful protesting is something that we cannot support. There are people who protest and advocate social change and there are people who take advantage of the protests as an excuse to commit belligerent acts of crime.

Like most small businesses, Both our Boost mobile locations have already been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and as phase three was just a couple days away, we were thrilled to hear that we could reopen our regular hours. However, before we could, Chicago experienced a wave of looting that destroyed both our stores.
On Sunday morning (5/31/20) 11am, We were able to see videos of groups pulling and tugging at the gate, crawling in and out with our merchandise on social media. These people were not for the protest, these people came with an intention to destroy our small business.

I try to keep calm and move forward, yet the circumstances make it very difficult to move forward and rebuild. It would mean more than the world to my family, my employees and my employees families if you could help with anything possible.

Our goal with these funds is to rebuild and restore what has been destroyed, and re-establish normalcy for us and our employees at both our Boost mobile location. The restoration process will take a long time, but hopefully, with these donations we can restore items such as: fixtures of broken windows, doors, displays, merchandise, cash registers,  and much more. Whatever amount wilbe taken in with much gratitude!

* If you are unable to donate, please share this to your friends and family.*
We trust that God will bring the right people to pray and donate and we know that God is watching over this country.

Thank you and best regards,
The Boost Mobile Family
