Help Berto Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

We are starting this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend Berto, who recently experienced a devastating house fire at his home on Long Island. In a matter of moments, his safe place and many of his belongings were lost.

At this time, Berto is still processing everything that has happened, and he is not yet aware that this fundraiser has been created. Out of respect for his privacy, we kindly ask that this be shared thoughtfully and with care.

Berto is someone who has always been there for others—offering support, kindness, and generosity without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to be there for him. The road ahead will include rebuilding, replacing essential items, and navigating the unexpected costs that come with a tragedy like this.

All funds raised will go directly toward helping Berto recover—covering immediate needs such as clothing, temporary housing, and daily essentials, as well as longer-term efforts to rebuild his home and life.
