Hello Everyone,

My name is Hannah Westphal and I am Ben Loth's cousin.

I am originally from Menasha but currently reside in Kaukauna, WI.

My family has never been one to ask for help. In fact, it’s something that doesn’t come easily to us. But today, we are reaching out because people we love need the support of their community more than ever. Right now, the entire Menasha community needs our help.

I have taken the initiative to help where I can by creating this GoFundMe fundraiser for my cousin, Ben Loth.

Here is a video of more information regarding the storms.

My cousin, Ben and his beloved pets, Jack and Kitty Man, lost their home in the Menasha tornado. His entire neighborhood was devastated. The house wasn’t just a place to live—it was Ben’s grandparents’ home for many years, filled with memories and family history. Ben had recently poured his heart into renovating and updating it, creating a home for his future in Menasha.

Ben is a lifelong Menasha resident. He grew up here, attended Menasha High School, and has dedicated countless years to the Menasha football program as both a player and a coach. This community has always been a huge part of his life, and he has spent many years giving back to the place he proudly calls home.

To see that home gone in an instant is truly heartbreaking—not only for them, but for everyone who knows and loves them, and for our entire community.

Even in the midst of this unimaginable loss, Ben immediately sprang into action. He ran through the neighborhood helping others, pulling people from the rubble, and putting the safety of his neighbors before his own. He is already looking forward to the cleanup of his property so he can continue helping others in his neighborhood recover and rebuild.

During times like these, we are reminded of the incredible strength that comes from people coming together. If you are able, we would be deeply grateful if you could share this message or consider making a donation to help him begin the difficult process of rebuilding his life.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers. Every share, every donation, and every encouraging word means more than we can express.

He intends to use the money to replace living essentials that are gone or ruined, help rebuild the home or a new home, as well as temporary living costs. He needs a new vehicle as well.

Please continue to keep Menasha and Doty Island in your thoughts and prayers. #Menashastrong
