Helping My Family Rebuild After Hurricane Dorian

My name is Matthew Saunders and I am a Bahamian Canadian who lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. My friend Jenny set up this GoFundMe page to help my family members who have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian on the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama.

When Dorian hit the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama on September 1st and 2nd my family members living on those islands lost everything. I am so grateful that they are safe and in good health but they have lost their homes and belongings and are figuring out how to rebuild their lives.

The funds raised through this page will go towards helping family rebuild. My nephews have been evacuated from Abaco to Nassau and are facing many unexpected expenses there. My family in Grand Bahama does not have power or water yet and will need extensive assistance rebuilding what was lost or starting all over again.
