The Azuero Peninsula has been one of the hardest-hit areas following the earthquake here in Panama, leaving families without homes, businesses damaged, and entire communities struggling to recover. This region depends heavily on tourism for its livelihood, and with access to some areas cut off, getting even basic necessities to the people who need them has become incredibly difficult. Supplies are having to be transported by helicopter, making relief efforts even more challenging and expensive. We need funding to help provide essential supplies, support families who have lost everything, rebuild damaged homes and infrastructure, and help local businesses get back on their feet. These communities are home to hardworking people who depend on one another, and right now, they need our support more than ever. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a real difference in helping the Azuero Peninsula recover and rebuild.
