Rebuilding Andrea & Joel's Home.

Hi all, my name is Bryanna, (daughter), and I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Andrea & Joel. On December 30th, 2021, a fire caused by downed power lines struck Boulder County with immense ferocity. Blazing winds ripped through the quaint neighborhood known as the Spanish Hills, spreading the fire rapidly. This fire was later named the Marshall Fire- and we have learned it has taken 1000's of homes in its path. One of those houses was the beloved home of Andrea & Joel.

 

Joel has owned this property for the past 30 years, and it has been a cherished place of gathering for the entire family. From birthdays to holidays- this was home to us all. Unfortunately, both Andy & Joel were only miles from where the fire started and therefore had to evacuate their property with only minutes notice. They both made it out safely, with their dogs in tow and the clothes on their backs. But the house and everything inside has been completely destroyed, and they are needing to rebuild from ground zero.

 

We are asking for donations to help them replace those items that can be replaced, while they figure out how to move forward from such a tragic event. Although not all items can be replaced, we are hoping to give them a little piece of mind in the months to come as they search for a new home. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
