On February 23, 2026, my two best friends, Alyssa and Brad Davis, experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home and everything inside it.

This was their very first home, a place they were so proud to purchase in November 2025. After moving back to St. Pete from Nashville last year to be closer to family following Brad’s father’s stroke, they were excited to begin this new chapter surrounded by loved ones.

In just a matter of minutes, that dream was taken from them. The fire department was unable to determine the cause of the fire, and tragically, they lost everything. We are incredibly grateful that Alyssa and Brad made it out safely. Brad was taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated for smoke inhalation, saving their animals and thankfully he is now recovering.

If you know Alyssa and Brad, you know they would never ask for help themselves. That’s why I’m asking on their behalf. They are starting completely from scratch.

Replacing clothes, essentials, furniture, and all the basic necessities of daily life.
