Rebuilding Alis's Home and Hope After the Fire

Alis Sinclair has called this community home since 2002, dedicating herself to helping others and supporting the growth of the Hispanic community. She has always been there for her neighbors and family, offering love and support through every challenge. Since my father passed away in 2013, Alis has bravely managed life on her own in the house they built together, continuing to give back to those around her.

The day after Valentine’s Day, tragedy struck when a fire destroyed her home. In a matter of hours, she lost not only her house and clothing, but also irreplaceable keepsakes from her mother and my father. Her work life was also upended, as all of her computer equipment and office were damaged beyond repair. The loss has left her with nothing, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult.

The funds raised here will help Alis with temporary housing, replacing essentials, and beginning to rebuild her life. As her daughter, I am indebted to anyone willing to show love and support during this time. Your kindness will help my mother feel less alone and give her hope as she faces this overwhelming loss. Thank you for standing with us.
