I’m a young Canadian girl who was taken to Afghanistan as a teenager, not by choice, by my parent. I have spent the last several years in a life of little freedom, deprived of education, opportunities, and basic rights.
It has taken years of waiting, but an organization has finally come to the rescue to help me get home to Canada. Although the process is still in progress, I request assistance to help me rebuild once I arrive, including necessities such as shelter, food, clothing, and access to education, to enable me to get on with my life.
Any help, even a share, means more than I can express. Thank you for standing with me as I take back control of my life.
