Last week, there were catastrophic flooding events throughout the state of Wisconsin. Unfortunately, my mom's and my house and cars were both flooded. Our basement flooded up to the rafters. We lost all of the Wisconsin basement essentials plus some irreplaceable items. Most of you know we both officiate for show skiing. I had all of my "officials" polos and t-shirts down there to be washed before summer. They only found one, and it's white... or was. We are also displaced from our home for the foreseeable future. The costs are starting to creep up on us with food, lodging, and gas going back and forth to the house. We are not the type of people to ask for help, but this has been and will continue to be a life changing event. We're not sure what insurance is going to cover, so we are starting to get mounting bills.
