Rebuilding After the Turkey Earthquake

As many of you know, on February 6, 2023, there was a devastating earthquake and aftershocks that have caused unfathomable damage and destruction in parts of Turkey and Syria whose deathtoll is up to 39,000 and climbing daily. This occurred in the heart of our hometown and we are dealing with much family loss and heartache. Our family living in Turkey have been deeply affected. We have had family members who have lost their lives and many others who have lost their homes, and have had to seek shelter in different cities in Turkey with few belongings, if any. They have been traumatized and their lives have been turned upside down in an instant.

If you would like to make a donation to support our family and friends impacted at this difficult time, please do so. While there is a need for immediate relief and things such as food, medicine and shelter, the real need will be when they are once again able to rebuild their lives. We want to know that our immediate family and friends are receiving any relief and aid being collected and this is one avenue that we can ensure that they are directly receiving that help.
