In a matter of minutes, everything changed.

A powerful tornado tore through my sister’s home, leaving nothing behind but debris and heartbreak. The place she built her life, filled with memories, comfort, and security, is now completely gone. Along with her home, she lost all of her belongings, clothes, furniture, personal keepsakes, everything.

She is also a mother of two, and while we are incredibly grateful that her children were not in the home at the time of the tornado and are safe, they too have lost all of their belongings in this devastating event.

During the storm, my sister was injured and had to be taken to the hospital. While we are so thankful she is now safe and on the road to recovery, she still has a long journey ahead, physically, emotionally, and financially.

Right now, she is facing the overwhelming reality of starting over from scratch while also focusing on healing. The support she needs goes far beyond what insurance may cover and what any one person can handle alone.

We are asking for help to give her and her children a fresh start. Donations will go toward immediate needs like housing, clothing, food, medical expenses, and eventually helping them rebuild their lives piece by piece.
