On Tuesday night February 17, 2026, during the Los Angeles storm, our home was destroyed by a tree knocked over by the strong winds. The large branch fell across the top of the trailer & into the living room. Jennifer (mother) and Isaac (2 years old) were inside the trailer when the tree fell down, while Daniel (father) was out running errands. Jennifer was on the couch, right under the fallen branch, while Isaac was asleep in his room. When the tree fell, Jennifer was able to roll out from under the collapsed trailer to get to Isaac's room. However, the branch had jammed Isaac's door, making it impossible to open. For 1 agonizing minute, Jennifer desperately tried to open the door, not knowing if the tree had also fallen into Isaac's room, not knowing if Isaac was alive. After calling out for help, our amazing neighbors came and helped pry open the door with a crowbar. Daniel rushed home when hearing what had happened. We thank God that both Jennifer and Isaac came out of this near-death experience physically unharmed.
Our family has been living the RV lifestyle fulltime for 2 years, and in those two years, we have made our small house a beautiful home. We brought Isaac home from the hospital, had family and friends over for the holidays, watched Isaac take his first steps, and so many more memories. As of right now, we are homeless...we are unsure of the future...we invested everything into our trailer, & now it's gone. It's all quite overwhelming. In creating this GoFundMe, our goal is to use any contribution towards our next home. But no matter what, we are all just so grateful, so blessed, to have everyone come out of this alive. For anyone taking the time to read this, thank you. We appreciate every kind thought, every prayer, and every word of comfort sent our way.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
~ Daniel, Jennifer, & baby Isaac
