Rebuilding After the May 16 Tornado

Hi, my name is Octavia. I’m 26 years old and a proud mom to a beautiful 4-month-old baby girl named O’Riyah. On May 16, our lives changed forever when a tornado hit our area and destroyed nearly everything we had.

In just a few minutes, we lost our home and all of our belongings. Right now, my partner, our daughter O’Riyah, and I are staying with family as we try to rebuild and find a new place to call home.

We’re starting from scratch and are in need of essentials like clothes, a bed, a dresser, towels, and supplies for our cat. Our priority is to create a safe, stable space for O’Riyah as we move forward.
