It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the tragic and senseless loss of our beloved Krystal Graham.

Krystal was so much more than the sole provider for her family she was their safe place, their steady ground, the heart that held everything together. She was funny and stubborn in the best way, with a sarcastic sense of humor that could pull laughter out of even the heaviest days. Her laugh was contagious. Her love was fierce. And when it came to the people she loved, she stood strong without hesitation. If you were hers, you were protected no questions asked.

Krystal had a heart that believed in helping others. She opened her home, she showed up for family, and she carried more than most people ever knew yet she did it with strength and grace. Her children were her entire world. Every decision she made, every long day she worked, every sacrifice it was all for them.

In a senseless and devastating act of violence, Krystal’s life was stolen far too soon.

When the shooting began, chaos erupted in seconds. What started as a normal day turned into unimaginable terror. Dave instinctively gathered the children and ran, shielding them and doing everything in his power to protect them from the gunfire. In the middle of confusion and fear, his only thought was saving his children. In those terrifying moments, their lift changed forever.

That same horrific night, their family’s home was set on fire. The place that once held birthday celebrations, bedtime stories, laughter in the kitchen, and the comfort of knowing family was always there was gone. Dave and the children were forced to flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs. In a single night, they lost their wife, their mother, and their home.

Krystal was a devoted wife and a fiercely loving mother to Angelyn, Kaitlyn who bravely lives with autism, and Franklyn. She carried the weight of providing for her family with courage and determination. No matter how heavy the load, she made sure her children felt safe, supported, and deeply cherished. She was their constant. Their protector. Their rock.

Dave worked part-time while also serving as Kaitlyn’s full-time caregiver, ensuring she receives the patience, structure, and attention she needs each and every day. Now, while grieving the unimaginable loss of his wife and partner, he is also facing the overwhelming reality of rebuilding their lives from nothing. The emotional devastation is indescribable. The financial burden is crushing. And yet, he continues to stand because his children still need him.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses, relocation costs, clothing, hygiene items, and immediate basic necessities. Donations will also help support ongoing expenses as Dave and the children begin the long, painful journey of rebuilding emotionally, physically, and financially.
