Early Sunday morning, while we were asleep, our home caught on fire. It was sudden, terrifying, and completely unexpected. We woke up to smoke filling the house and had only moments to get out. By the grace of God, everyone survived — including my cat — thanks to the incredible bravery of the Revere firefighters who risked their lives to pull him out.

While we are deeply grateful to be alive, the aftermath has been devastating.

Our home is no longer livable. Every room has been damaged by fire, smoke, or water. Most of our belongings — furniture, clothes, essential items, and personal keepsakes — have been ruined or are unsafe to use. We are now facing the overwhelming process of starting from scratch.

We are raising funds to help cover:

Temporary housing and relocation costs

Replacing basic essentials (clothing, bedding, toiletries)

Cleaning and salvaging anything that can be saved

Replacing necessary furniture and household items

Veterinary care and monitoring for my cat, who suffered smoke exposure

This has been an incredibly difficult time for us. Asking for help does not come easily, but the financial impact is more than we can manage on our own.
