My family lost so much this morning. My little sister was woken up to loud pops outside she thought were gunshots, tires were exploding off of my dads trucks. Both trucks were burnt down to the ground as well as everything in them. They have so many memories as well as valuable assets like my dads power tools and things he needs to work, things my Charlee loves like her rollerskates and clothes, things Sabrina holds on to from our pets who are no longer with us as well as Christmas presents they had just bought for family members. Important pieces of my childhood went up in flames, the white truck was my grandpas, that truck carried him to his burial and carried with it a lot of memories I had with my gpa. I’m so grateful my little sister woke up by chance to hear everything and alert them. This fire could’ve easily spread to the animals, the house, and everything I love would’ve been gone. I would’ve lost all three of them this morning if it wasn’t for her. I’m so grateful for everyone that has already stepped in to help❤️ please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today and just hug your family tight, freak accidents like this happen all the time and you always think it would never be you until it is. Thank you so much to the McKenney fire department for their fast response as well.❤️
