Help Alexis Heal After a Life-Changing Car Accident
On a recent road trip outside of Houston in Nacogdoches County, Alexis Simmons, a devoted single mother of two young boys, survived a devastating car accident that turned her world upside down.
She was T-boned on the passenger side, causing her car to flip and land on its roof. All airbags deployed, and she, her two sons, and her cousin were rushed to the hospital with injuries.
By a miracle, her boys survived with concussions—initial scans raised fears of more serious brain trauma, but thankfully, further testing confirmed they are on the road to recovery.
But for Alexis, the damage was severe.
She sustained a fractured vertebrae in her neck, a broken foot and ankle, and nerve damage leaving one arm limp. Since the accident, she has undergone spinal surgery to place rods in her neck, and a rod placement in her foot, with a second surgery planned along with intensive physical therapy.

Why We’re Asking for Help
Alexis is a strong, loving mother from Nashville, TN, who now faces a long, painful recovery—unable to work, walk, or care for her boys the way she did before. She and her family have had to stay out of town in Houston, Texas, for treatment, leading to unexpected hotel costs, travel expenses, and the loss of her vehicle, which was totaled in the crash.
We are raising $50,000 to support Alexis and her children through this incredibly difficult time. Donations will help cover:
• Out-of-work living expenses while Alexis heals
• Hotel and lodging fees during medical care away from home
• Travel reimbursements for ongoing appointments
• The purchase of a new car to help her regain independence and mobility

If you know Alexis, you know her spirit—resilient, kind, and full of love for her children. She’s not the type to ask for help. But right now, she truly needs it.
Any amount you give—big or small—will go directly toward giving her the peace, stability, and time she needs to recover. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Alexis and her family as they fight their way back to healing.
