I have been living off-grid on a beach since August 2024. Over the past few weeks, the islands have been hit with three severe storms, causing severe damages and flooding to my shelter. I lost my home and the majority of my belongings, including food, clothes, blankets, bed sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and towels. It has been a difficult and overwhelming experience, but I am grateful to have found some safety and support during this challenging time.
Fortunately, I was accepted and moved into Kumuhonua Transitional Living Center, which is a big step towards getting myself into permanent housing. While I am thankful for this opportunity, I am still in need of basic essentials to help me get back on my feet. I am hoping to replace clothes, bedding, pillows, soap, shampoo, hygiene products, shoes, and slippers—items that will help me regain stability and comfort as I work towards rebuilding my life.
I am dedicated to becoming self-sufficient, and I sincerely seek your support in bringing positive change and relief to my current challenges. Thank you for considering helping me. Your kindness and generosity will make a meaningful difference as I take steps toward a brighter future.
