From Living My Dream… to Starting Over
I don’t usually ask for help like this, but right now, I truly need it.
I was just a little girl from St. Mary, Jamaica with a big dream—to become a flight attendant. When I came to America, I held onto that dream with everything I had. Four and a half years ago, it finally came true. ✈️
Becoming a flight attendant wasn’t just a job for me—it was my passion. It was the life I worked so hard for, and I truly believed it would be my forever career. I loved what I did every single day.
But on May 1st at 12:00 a.m., everything changed. Spirit Airlines closed its doors, and just like that, my dream—and my livelihood—was gone.
Now I’m facing unexpected financial challenges while trying to figure out my next steps. This has been overwhelming, and honestly, very scary.
I’m asking for help to raise $4,000 to cover urgent expenses during this transition. Anything you can give—no matter how small—would mean the world to me. And if you’re not able to donate, simply sharing this post would be such a blessing.
This is not easy for me, but I’m holding on to faith, strength, and the kindness of others as I work to rebuild.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for any support you can give. ❤️
