On August 20th, a fire left my apartment and everything inside covered in smoke damage. Unfortunately, my renter’s insurance does not cover personal belongings. I’m not sure how long it will be before we can collect our things so we need things to hold us over. I also will need to have all of our clothes and shoes professionally cleaned which is expensive. I’m staying in a hotel with my 2 toddlers until a new unit is ready, and we need help with food, gas, clothes, and shoes. Starting my last semester of nursing school next week makes this extra stressful. I’m asking for help with food, gas, clothing, and shoes for myself and my children as we rebuild from this unexpected setback. Any support, whether through donations or shares, means the world to us.
