I never imagined I would be writing something like this. While I was out of town, my apartment caught fire and I lost everything I owned. In just a moment, my entire life was gone — clothes, furniture, food, important documents, and the little things that made my place feel like home. What hurts the most is losing irreplaceable memories like photos and keepsakes, and the special items I had saved for my baby.

I’m so grateful that we are safe, but now I’m faced with the overwhelming reality of starting from nothing. It’s hard to put into words how devastating it feels to not even have the basics — the things we rely on every single day — while also grieving the memories that can never be replaced.
