My name is Brenda Greenwell and I am the daughter of Janet Mullins. On September 28, 2022, Fort Myers Beach was destroyed by category 4, Hurricane Ian. My mom's trailer was subject to the 15 foot storm surge and had 5 feet of water enter her home. Her home is now unlivable and has rendered her homeless. This has been her home for the last 43 years and held priceless memories. She lost photographs of her late husband, children, and grandchildren along with all of her possessions. She will be 83 years old next month and the thought of having to completely start over is overwhelming. Because of the age of her home she did not have any sort of insurance coverage. or protection of her assets. Any help or donation would be so appreciated in helping her move forward as best as she can.
