In July of 2025, Guatemala was struck with hundreds of earthquakes and aftershocks. In Magdalena, it resulted in many structural issues in the TOLM Mission House, TOLM's Mount Sinai Christian school, and the local church making it unsafe for our staff, for us to host teams, and for our students. It impacted homes of many Guatemalan families. One of the church plants that TOLM supports, in Santa Maria de Jesus, and many in their community also received damage.

We are seeking to raise funds to correct the structural issues at the TOLM Mission House, replace one of the walls at the school and deal with other structural deficits, and replace floor and ceiling tiles that were damaged. We also want to support the community through this time through food baskets and help our church plants with their own rebuilding efforts.
