At 5 a.m., our family of five and our beloved pets were jolted awake by a fire that would change our lives forever. In a matter of moments, our home and the casita we were living in were completely destroyed, along with everything we owned and the small business we ran from home. Life as we knew it was gone overnight.

By the grace of God, we all survived the fire, which we are incredibly thankful for. However, the emotional and physical toll was immense, and shortly after this tragedy, Ricardo Castillo suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital. While we are grateful he is receiving care, this added an overwhelming medical and financial burden to an already devastating situation.

We are now facing the difficult reality of starting over from nothing. Funds raised will help cover medical expenses, temporary housing, and replacing basic necessities such as clothing, food, toiletries, school supplies, and essential items for our children and pets.
