Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We are writing to you with heavy hearts to share the tragic news that we lost our home in Altadena and everything within during the recent Eaton Fire disaster. Our home, which was meant to be our forever sanctuary where we would watch our little girls grow up and build our first-generation traditions, is just… completely gone.
We understand that there are countless families in need during this difficult time. For those who know us, we have always taken pride in our self-reliance and ability to manage on our own. However, the reality we now face is that we need help. We need help to rebuild our lives and to provide stability for our children.
With such devastation, we do not expect to be made completely whole. However, the fundraising goal will give us breathing room for ongoing mortgages as well as property tax relief. Your support, no matter the amount, will help us stabilize and manage these debts as well as essential necessities. Most importantly, it will also give us peace of mind, allowing us to focus on the complex and lengthy rebuilding process with our insurance and builders, while maintaining the sense of home for the girls.
Your generosity will make an immeasurable difference in our lives. We are deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide during this challenging period.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
Claire, Derrick, Arden, Enora
