My Brother's family's home Was Destroyed in the Rio Grande Valley Flood – Please Help

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.

My brother Stuart and his wife Taylor Baxter have lost everything in the recent catastrophic flooding in Rio Grande Valley, Texas. After being evacuated by airboat, they returned to find their home completely destroyed. The walls are soaked, the flooring is ruined, cabinets are destroyed, and nearly all of their cherished belongings are gone. Their young daughter Mila’s toys, clothes, and the sentimental items that made their house a home—were either washed away or contaminated with sewage water.

Childhood artwork, family memories, and irreplaceable treasures, gone overnight. With no flood insurance, the devastation is overwhelming. This hardworking, all-American family is left with nothing and nowhere to turn, and the entire community is struggling to recover, making their path forward even more difficult.

Watching them go through this has been heartbreaking. The cost of rebuilding is unimaginable, and they simply can’t do it alone. With no insurance to help and no place to stay, they are in urgent need of support to begin rebuilding their lives.
