On a recent day, a tornado tore through Avondale and changed my life in an instant. The force of the storm was so powerful that my neighbor’s trailer blew into mine, destroying my home and most of my belongings. While I was able to salvage a few items, the majority of what I owned was lost to the storm. I went to the hospital after the tornado but was released the same day with treatable injuries. The experience was overwhelming and left me facing the reality of starting over from scratch.

In the aftermath, I am focusing on finding a new place to live and covering urgent needs like clothing, food, and basic essentials. The journey ahead feels daunting, but I am grateful to be alive and for the safety of those around me. Every bit of support will help me rebuild and move forward during this difficult time.
