Rebuilding After a Life-Changing Car Crash

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be in a position to write this, but I’m reaching out with all the sincerity and gratitude in my heart to ask for your support. On October 26th, 2024, I survived a car crash that could have ended my life.

That night, a deer ran into the road, and I swerved to avoid it. The crash was terrifying, and the damage to my car shows how close I came to being seriously injured—or worse. Looking at the wreckage, it’s a miracle I walked away. I’ll share photos so you can see just how bad it was.

While I’m incredibly thankful to be alive, this accident has left me facing significant challenges. My car, a 2010 Black Nissan Versa, was my lifeline, allowing me to work and manage daily responsibilities. Unfortunately, I only had liability insurance, so none of the repair costs are covered.

A kind and talented mechanic is helping fix the car, but the repairs total $5,000, which I’m paying in monthly installments. On top of that, I’ve been navigating other transitions, including my mother moving back to the Philippines for good, leaving me to manage our home and many other changes on my own.

Without my car, I’ve been unable to work as much as I need to, and I’ve fallen behind. That’s why I’m asking for your help. My goal is to raise $7,500 to cover the cost of repairs, catch up on lost work, and give myself a fresh start.
