On December 16th, the place where I was living burned from the inside out. It was an old, uninsured house, and while the Red Cross helped the homeowner, I didn't receive any direct aid. Since then, I've been couch-hopping, trying to stay afloat.

Along with my home, I also lost many of my personal belongings including my main computer, which I relied on heavily for work, learning, and staying connected online. My rig was my lifeline. A digital archive of memories, games, and code I can't get back.

Water damage got into the drives. I'm still holding out hope for the GPU, but the rest is gone. I'm starting from scratch no stable housing, no gear, no backup.
