Hi and thank you for taking a moment to read this.

This is not an easy message for me to share. Over the past year, I’ve tried to maintain the image that everything in my life was stable, and it was not. Moving back to California was more expensive and challenging than I expected, and I made some investment mistakes. I let pride, pressure, and fear of failure keep me from asking for help from others.

At 44, it’s humbling to admit I’m struggling. But I also know I’ve overcome difficult seasons before, and I will get through this one too.

I’m asking for help covering living costs while I continue my job search. After 140+ applications, I have not been able to land a job. I have active interviews and promising leads, but I won’t be able to meet my financial responsibilities in the meantime. Losing my apartment — a meaningful place since returning to California — or having to sell my car would set me back significantly.

If you’re able to contribute, truly anything helps. I intend to pay it forward and can offer to pay back once I’m back on my feet. If you can’t give financially, I completely understand — the world is heavy for many right now. If you know of any Program or Project Management roles in Southern California or remote and can refer me, that support would mean just as much.
