Destroyed livelihood by neighbors fireworks
Donation protected
Hi My name is Sarah and I am fundraising for my brother, Jonathan Stolzenberg whose garage was burned down due to fireworks being shot off in the neighborhood. On July 4th, my brother was asleep in his house, when he awoke to fire trucks and his garage burning down. The neighbor's garage was on fire, quickly spreading to his garage. Luckily, his house did not also catch on fire. For some, a garage is a place to store some extra stuff but for my brother, it contained his entire livelihood. He built the 1.5-story garage himself, to keep all his tools and materials for his construction work. More recently, he had been adding materials for a job that is a house renovation project. This included cabinets, vanities, sinks, toilets, wood flooring, etc. His garage contains thousands of dollars worth of tools and materials. His entire life is now on hold and he can't even earn a living since all his tools are gone. The garage is a total loss. We are going to try to salvage anything we can but the top floor and the bottom floor were soaked in water trying to put out the fire and that has affected all his electrical tools for work. He is truly devastated and does not know how he will recover from this loss. Any amount that you are willing to donate is greatly appreciated. All the funds will go towards building a new garage and tools so that he can get back to earning a living. I am so thankful he and his dog are safe, but it is truly heartbreaking to see him at such a loss.
