My name is Ola, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help my family and me rebuild our lives after the devastating impact of the ongoing conflict in Gaza since October 7th. As a mother of three brilliant children, along with my sick mother, we have endured unimaginable hardships, losing everything we owned in the war.

Our Journey of Survival:

Since the war began, we have been forced to evacuate our home in Beit Hanoun. Over the past months, we have moved seven times, seeking safety and shelter amidst the chaos. Our journey took us from Beit Hanoun to Gaza, where we evacuated three times within the city during the first month of the war. We then moved to Khanyounis, followed by a stay in an overcrowded UNRWA school with 20,000 other displaced people. Here, we faced severe shortages of basic necessities like clean water and sanitation, sleeping on cold floors for two months and surviving on canned food.

Our struggle did not end there. We moved to Rafah and then back to Khanyounis, where we are currently living in a tent under extremely tough conditions. My children, who once had big dreams and were successful in their studies, are now deeply traumatized by their experiences.

Urgent Medical Needs:

My mother has had three heart operations and suffers from Atrial Fibrillation. She is very depressed, extremely sick, and currently does not have access to her vital medication. She was scheduled for another heart operation one week after the war started, but due to the ongoing conflict, her treatment has been severely disrupted. Your support can help provide her with the necessary medical care and medications she desperately needs.

Why We Need Your Help:

We have lost everything - our home, our belongings, and our sense of security. Despite these hardships, we remain hopeful for a better future. We are raising funds to help us achieve the following:

Basic Necessities: Supply us with essentials such as food, clean water, clothing, and hygiene products. ($5000)

Secure Safe Shelter: Provide a safe place for us by evacuating to Egypt, free from the constant threat of displacement. ($22,500 for travel expenses: $5000 each for four adults (my mother, myself, my 17-year-old daughter, and my 16-year-old son), and $2500 for my 13-year-old son).

Medical Treatment: Cover the expenses for my mother's heart surgery in Egypt and pay for psychological support for my traumatized children. ($5000)
