*Please help us rebuild the West End Early Childhood Institution in Negril, Jamaica*

Westmoreland Parish of Jamaica is absolutely devastated by the Category 5 hurricane Melissa that blasted across much of the island in late October.

Like thousands of structures, the West End E.C.I. has sustained significant damage. The roof was ripped off the building, meaning everything inside has been severely damaged as well.

The school was founded in 1988 by Mr. Ansel Roy Jackson and was first attended by his own two children. The student population has now grown to over 20 students ranging in ages 2-4, each hailing from the surrounding tight-knit community and boasts an amazing principal educator by the name of Miss Shacklewood. The school, once supported by a famous foundation, has now been completely community-supported for years, relying on the kindness of others.

My name is Epiphany Eller, I am a mum whose young daughter attends this school. It is an upstanding institution teaching respect, morals, reading, writing, math, socialization, nutrition, community, stability, and so much more to the youngest and most impressionable young minds in our community in Negril.

We humbly ask for your support during this most critical time of need, so that our young children, the most innocent to be affected by Hurricane Melissa, will have a familiar place to return to, to see their friends again, to learn from their teachers again, to eat together, to create a sense of normalcy and stability in their small hearts and young minds. Please help us redirect their childhood memories from those of devastation to those of reconstruction, return, and HOPE.

Please share with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, congregations, and anyone looking for a way to directly give back to the hard-hit community of Jamaica.

ALL proceeds will go towards rebuilding the school, replacing furniture, buying new and undamaged school supplies, and in supporting the carpenters and builders who will restore the school, ensuring their families will therefore receive much-needed support as well.

Thank you, with love from Jamaica ♥️
