Help Usa & Ravi Rebuild After the Nan Floods
For over 20 years, Usa and Ravi have been a cornerstone of the Nan community in Northern Thailand. As the warm-hearted owners of Hot Bread Café, they’ve served comfort foods to thousands of travelers and locals alike — offering a place of peace, connection, and familiarity to anyone who walked through their doors.
Right next to Hot Bread, their renowned khao soi restaurant has earned a loyal following, beloved for its rich, handmade flavors and the couple’s boundless hospitality.
But recently, devastating floods swept through Nan, damaging both of their restaurants and their home. Much of what they’ve poured their lives into was lost — not just buildings and equipment, but the spaces that brought people together across cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
Usa and Ravi aren’t just restaurant owners — they are a bridge between worlds. They’ve welcomed countless Western travelers, many of whom were far from home and a little lost, and offered them food, care, and a sense of belonging. For their Thai neighbors, they’ve been generous, steady, and always ready to help.
They represent everything that’s good in the world: hardworking, humble people who use their gifts to serve others. Now, it’s our turn to support them.
Your donation will help:
Rebuild and repair both restaurants
Replace damaged equipment and supplies
Restore their home so they can live safely again
No amount is too small. Every baht, dollar, or euro brings them one step closer to rebuilding.
If Usa and Ravi have ever served you a coffee and toast, helped you feel at home, or made your journey through Nan a little sweeter — please consider giving back. And if you haven’t met them yet, trust me: they are the kind of people who make the world a better place.
Let’s help them get back on their feet and continue being the beautiful force for good they’ve always been.
