Dear Friend of the Veteran Community,

Since 1932, Tuckahoe VFW Post 2768 has stood as a place of camaraderie, remembrance, and service. Founded by veterans returning from foreign wars seeking support and solidarity, our Post has become a cornerstone of the Tuckahoe community—a place where veterans and their families come together to give back and uphold the proud legacy of military service.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to honor and celebrate the legacy of military service for generations to come. Throughout the year, we host meaningful events and programs—Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances, educational partnerships with local schools, Independence Day and Juneteenth celebrations, and family-oriented gatherings that bring our community together in unity and respect.

But today, we are reaching out in a time of urgent need.

On April 28, 2025, a devastating fire severely damaged and condemned our historic Post building. This is more than the loss of a structure—it is the temporary silencing of a vital community voice, a sacred space where history, service, and fellowship lived side by side.

We are now in the early stages of a monumental rebuilding effort—and we need your help.
