At 4a.m. on Friday morning, Troy Kibbe and his two young children were awoken to a tree falling on their home, literally cutting it in half. Fortunately the family was unharmed, but the damage to their home was devastating. The town has informed them that it is too unsafe to even retrieve their belongings until the damage is repaired.
As a single father of a 3-year old daughter and a 2-year old son money is tight, and as a result Troy was unable to afford insurance on his home.
Currently the family is staying with friends until they can repair the damage and go home.
Any financial assistance to help alleviate the burden would mean the world. God bless.
