Rebuild Treasure Beach After Hurricane Beryl
Donation protected

Recently, my family's hometown, Treasure Beach, which is on the southeast coast of St Elizabeth, Jamaica, was devastated by Hurricane Beryl. They are currently without any electricity, phone, internet service, or water. This small community is made up of fishermen, farmers, and small local businesses and is known for its vibrant culture, rich history, and beautiful people. My family's hotel, Taino Cove, also known as the "hidden treasure" and named after the original residents of Treasure Beach, the Taino Indians, holds a special place in the hearts of many after being there for 20 years. And like many other businesses, it's been greatly impacted and depends heavily on tourism to survive. It will be a while before they will be able to host visitors. These small businesses, stores, community centers, and homes have suffered so much damage and loss as a result of this powerful storm. They need our help!
Rebuilding will undoubtedly be challenging, but this is where I'm hoping our neighboring communities will offer support. Please consider donating to help the community of Treasure Beach, Jamaica during this difficult time. Help them put their lives back together and come back stronger than ever!
Donations will be distributed:
$50 -$100 - families for food and supplies
$150 - $250 - small businesses
$300+ - community center and schools
