The Powell/Hinsen/Peters/Patterson family homestead was lost in the lightning fires of Santa Cruz. Karen and Bob, Melia and her family of two children 18 and 11, Adam and his 11 year old child have lost everything in this intense blaze. They are currently in an evacuation shelter waiting to visit their burned down home site and figure out how they are going to rebuild. There was no fire insurance for this land because of its location. I am hoping to help them raise money to get them new clothes, temporary housing, food, etc. Ideally there would be enough for rebuilding too. Please help them if you can. Thank you!
