The Sandbar, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands, burnt down last weekend (May 13-14 2017).

The Sandbar is owned/operated by sisters Tonya and Katya Vieira who came to the  island in 2000, and fell in love with it's beauty.

If you have ever been to Grand Turk, then you will know the Sandbar.  The staff are welcoming, the food is even better and the rum punch is always flowing.

This little bar holds a huge place in my heart. The people of Grand Turk, the beauty of the island, and it's  surrounding waters are why I keep going back year after year.
