Hello! My name is Ella and I’m doing this in behalf of my cousin, Kim, nephew and grandma. Kim is only 25 years old, who has already faced more hardship than most people do in a lifetime. After losing her mum, she became the sole carer for her father, who is blind. This week, their lives were turned upside down again when Super Typhoon Kalmaegi struck the Philippines. Their small home has been completely destroyed, the roof ripped away, their few belongings washed out by floods, and the small farm they depend on for income swept away. Despite the devastation, my cousin’s main concern remains her father’s safety, and finding clean water and food for them both as they try to survive each day.

Many in their village have lost everything and some have died, and several are still missing. I’m asking for your kindness and help so they can start to rebuild, even just to put up a roof over their heads and have a dry place to sleep. No amount is too small! even £1 can make a difference and bring hope back to their lives. 

Any excess funds will be used to pack up relief goods- rice, canned meats and easily accessible food for the people whose livelihood has been washed out in the village.
