The Other Side Mission located at the old Wilburn School is a faith based recovery center for a brotherhood of men from all walks of life and all areas who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction.  We help guide those suffering to a place that will help them overcome their issues by finding the peace that is offered by Jesus.  We are founded in the faith that through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ anything and everything is possible.  We are completely dependent on donations to support our mission of hope.

On November 7th, 2018 The Other Side experienced a catastrophic fire that destroyed donations, personal belongings, tools, supplies, our gymnasium, and a building that stood as part of a community for generations.  Due to the cost these building were not insured.  

Estimates for cleanup are in excess of $80,000.00.  Once cleaned up it is our goal to rebuild in this location.  The new buildings built will be a vo-tech  facility that helps train and prepare our brotherhood for jobs as they leave our facility and transition back into our community, and a new gymnasium facility that will be used as our chapel and a venue for local events.  The cost of this new facility is estimated to cost in the neighborhood of $1.5 million dollars.
