REBUILD the Northern Rivers

REBUILD is the Northern Rivers Fundraiser for raising funds to directly support those who have lost their homes in the recent floods.

All funds raised will be distributed to help three main areas needing financial support:

* Financial support to pay for short and long term housing and accommodation for families and elderly who have been left homeless

* Financial support to cover the costs of building supplies for those trying to rebuild their homes

* Financial support to provide and replace appliances and contents of homes lost to the floods

All funds raised will be given directly to families (not filtered through organizations) who have lost their homes with the goal of rehousing and rebuilding homes for as many people as we can, as quickly as we can.

The people of the Northern Rivers were already experiences are housing crisis with not enough homes available to house our local community, the floods have made this situation even worse with thousands now homeless and displaced.

We want to help these families in the most important way we can ~ by helping them to find a home. Be it paying for a rental, or short term housing solution to helping to provide the means needed to rebuild their homes.
