Hi, my name is Taylor, and I’m a friend of The Little Farm. I love this farm, those sweet animals, the farm kids, and their incredible Farm Momma, Tricia.
Tonight, severe storms came through our community, and The Little Farm took a hard hit.
First and most importantly, all of the animals are okay — thank God. That is truly the biggest blessing in all of this.
But the farm itself has been left with significant damage. Several animal runs will need to be completely rebuilt. Pasture fencing has been damaged and will need to be repaired, secured, and in some areas completely replaced. Trees are down, the grounds are flooded, and there is wood, metal, nails, and debris throughout the property that will need to be carefully cleaned up to keep the animals safe.
We spent much of tonight picking up the pieces — literally. We lifted fallen walls off fences, cleared debris, checked on animals, and did everything we could in the dark to make things safe.
And through it all, my friend Tricia cried — not because of everything she lost or everything she now has to rebuild, but because she was so incredibly grateful that none of her babies were hurt.
If you know anything about running a farm, you know it is already expensive. Feed, veterinary care, fencing, shelters, maintenance, supplies, and the everyday needs of these animals add up quickly. An unexpected disaster like this creates a financial burden that I don’t want Tricia and the farm to have to carry alone.
So I’m creating this GoFundMe to rally around The Little Farm, its animals, its kids, and Farm Momma Tricia. ❤️
Donations will help with storm cleanup, debris removal, rebuilding animal runs and shelters, repairing and replacing pasture fencing, purchasing lumber and building materials, and making the property safe and secure for the animals again.
No amount is too small. If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping the farm in your prayers.
This little farm means so much to so many people in our community. Tonight, they need their community to show up for them.
Tricia would probably never ask for this herself — so I’m asking for her.
Let’s help put The Little Farm back together and give Tricia one less thing to worry about while she focuses on what she does every single day: loving and caring for those babies.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And thank You, God, for protecting every single animal tonight. ❤️
Let’s rebuild The Little Farm.
